Rak Sunakh Universe Origin Umaya @ Undercover Records

She meets people with a friendly, natural confidence and is very easy to guide even in unfamiliar situations. She gets excited quickly, is curious and loves being part of whatever is happening. That energy makes her alert and quick to respond without making her difficult to reach. Even when her hunting interest is triggered, she reconnects readily with her person and has a reliable recall.

Dog shows, however, are not exactly her passion. She participates – but claiming she loves it would be stretching the truth.

With other dogs, Maya is confident and socially clear. She does not look for conflict, but neither will she allow herself to be pushed around. When boundaries are necessary, she communicates them clearly and with control.

For our breeding programme, this combination is particularly valuable: openness, activity and independence paired with responsiveness and excellent everyday stability. Maya remains unmistakably a Thai Ridgeback – just without unnecessary distance or insecurity.

Her offspring with Boss have confirmed many of these qualities for us. Candy and Fred in particular are beautiful examples of what this combination can produce.
